Paid Sick Time Workplace Notice Now Available
Bloomfield, New Jersey was one of several Garden State municipalities that implemented Paid Sick Time laws with corresponding workplace posting requirements in 2015. Bloomfield NJ Paid Sick Time Posting Requirements
All employers must give a written notice to each new employee regarding their rights under the Bloomfield Paid Sick time ordinance. The notice also must be displayed in a conspicuous and accessible place at the workplace and must describe the employees’ rights under the paid sick time ordinance.
The notice must be provided in English and in the primary language of at least 10% of the employer’s workforce. To that end, Bloomfield has released a Spanish version of the Paid Sick Time notice.
