GovDocs Completes SOC 2® Type II Examination

An independent SOC 2® Type II examination affirms that the security and operational controls behind GovDocs operated effectively during the audit period, giving multi-jurisdiction employers third-party assurance that the products and services they rely on for compliance from GovDocs are handled with rigor and care.
GovDocs, a leading provider of employment law compliance software and labor law posting solutions, announced it has successfully completed its SOC 2® Type II examination as of June 30, 2026. The examination was conducted by Copeland Buhl & Company, PLLP, a nationally recognized CPA firm.
The SOC 2® Type II report covers GovDocs’ controls relevant to security. Unlike a Type I examination, which evaluates whether controls are properly designed at a single point in time, a Type II examination assesses whether those controls operated effectively over an extended period, providing customers with a higher level of assurance.
