Attention all federal contractors! The minimum wage rate for your employees will be increasing Jan. 1, 2018.
Each year, the Secretary of Labor reviews and determines what the applicable minimum wage rate for federal contractors will be. The new rate for 2018 will be $10.35 per hour, a $0.15 raise from $10.20, the 2017 rate . In addition, the tipped minimum wage rate will increase to $7.25 per hour (from $6.80).
Federal contractors are required to communicate this wage change to their contracted employees.
