GovDocs Expands in New Office Space

EAGAN, MINN. (March 11, 2022) — GovDocs in March 2022 opened an expansive new office space in Eagan, Minn., outfitted to accommodate a hybrid work environment, foster collaboration and meet the needs of the growing company.

“Our leadership team put a lot of thought and effort into creating a welcoming environment for our employees,” said Zach Stabenow, founder and CEO. “The new space enhances our technological capabilities and provides a multitude of workspace options, giving our employees flexibility in how they work while setting us up for future growth and innovation.”

The new office, with views of the downtown Minneapolis skyline, is open and airy. Large windows surround the fourth-floor space, which, at 14,016 square feet, wraps around a large portion of the building.

When employees come in, they can choose where they want to work, tailoring their experience to their duties on any given day or moment. Options include:

• Open, collaborative group areas
• Traditional cubicles
• Quiet huddle rooms
• Offices
• Other seating areas throughout the office

Meanwhile, meeting rooms (named after native Minnesota trees) feature state-of-the-art virtual conferencing technology to make communication seamless between employees working together in the office and those working from home. Many of the walls double as whiteboards, and common areas elsewhere in the building offer additional space to congregate in large or small groups.

“Our brand-new office space is bright and open and encourages collaboration and team engagement,” Stabenow said.

The kitchen area at the new GovDocs office has 20-foot ceilings, plenty of seating and refrigerator space, and free snacks and drinks for employees.

Speckled throughout the space are reminders of GovDocs’ mission — solving the employment law compliance challenges for large, multi-jurisdiction employers — such as doors with stenciled labor law posters or a list of compliance terms. Plus, spanning the dual entrance is the company credo: We Go(v) Forth Together.
