GovDocs Paid Leave Software Solution

The employment law compliance software simplifies the process of managing paid leave laws and regulations for large, multi-jurisdiction employers.

ST. PAUL, MINN. (May 14, 2020) – GovDocs today announces the release of GovDocs Paid Leave, its new employment law compliance software solution.

This groundbreaking software automates the process of managing and tracking paid leave laws and regulations across city, county, state and federal jurisdictions, while reducing the risk of non-compliance for large, multi-jurisdiction employers.

Beyond a legal database, GovDocs Paid Leave cuts research time and effort, applying the laws specific to each company location. It helps employers proactively stay on top of new and changing laws, and presents complex data in an easy-to-use interface, geared toward non-legal professionals.

GovDocs Paid Leave covers the most common types of paid leave laws, such as paid sick leave, paid family and medical leave and paid leave for any reason; as well as includes specific paid leave laws in certain jurisdictions like paid parental leave, paid safe time leave and emergency paid leave in response to COVID-19.

“We’re thrilled to introduce GovDocs Paid Leave, our second data-as-a-service product, to the employment law compliance market,” GovDocs CEO Zach Stabenow said. “Like GovDocs Minimum Wage, we’ve taken extensive, invaluable feedback from our Fortune 500 clients’ expertise to respond to common problems that benefits administration, human resources, payroll, compliance, employee relations and other departments in large companies face.”

As more state and local jurisdictions pass new or amend existing paid leave laws, employers are increasingly challenged with keeping up with the complexities of researching, interpreting, and applying these laws in their employee policies. Failure to comply could result in litigation, government fines, reduced employee goodwill, lost employee productivity and tarnished brand integrity.

GovDocs Paid Leave is a core part of the GovDocs software platform, integrating three solutions to simplify the processes of employment law compliance in one convenient place. It joins the GovDocs Update Program, our labor law postings management subscription, and minimum wage rate application, GovDocs Minimum Wage.

“Establishing the GovDocs Employment Law Compliance Platform is a milestone achievement for GovDocs. With it we continue to provide clients with what they have been asking us for; more opportunities to work with one partner for all their employment law compliance needs,” Stabenow said.
