Curt Barsness

Curt joined GovDocs in June 2020 as Accounting Manager. In his current role as Director of Finance and Accounting, he and his staff collaborate with other departments to continually redefine best practices.

With a process-improvement mindset, Curt is always looking to find better methods and tools to make a positive impact for customers and fellow team members.

Curt is a seasoned, well-rounded, finance and accounting professional with roles in large multinational, manufacturing companies. An expert in costing who partners with manufacturing teams focused on improving operational productivity and efficiency, evaluating capital investments, and eliminating waste.  His core strengths include leadership, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement, inventory management and financial analysis. He attributes success to sincere listening, flexible thinking, and setting clear expectations.

When he is not working, Curt, his wife Jody and three kids enjoy sitting around the campfire planning their next vacation, or spending time at their cabin up north fishing, riding 4-wheelers and swimming.
