March 2026 Poster Spotlight

A highlight of several recent labor law poster releases that employers should know about, brought to you by the GovDocs Employment Law and Compliance Team.

In this monthly series, the GovDocs Employment Law and Compliance Team highlights three recent labor law poster releases that employers need to know about.

New Jersey Captive Audience Poster

Last year, New Jersey’s state legislature passed AB 4429, amending its Conscientious Employee Protection Act to prohibit employers from requiring employees to attend employer-sponsored meetings or receive communications related to political or religious matters. In line with these updates, AB 4429 requires employers to conspicuously display a new poster outlining employee rights related to captive audience at their workplace locations.

New Jersey’s Conscientious Employee Protection Act (Captive Audience) poster is required to be displayed by all employers with employees, including the state and any political subdivisions of New Jersey.

The GovDocs Standard Update Program is currently shipping new Captive Audience posters to impacted customer locations in New Jersey.

Connecticut Minimum Wage Poster

Connecticut is the final state to update its Jan. 1, 2026, minimum wage poster. Specifically, the state’s Minimum Wage (Administrative Regulations) posting was updated to include the standard minimum wage adjustment to $16.94, effective Jan. 1, 2026. Note, Connecticut’s two tipped employee wage rates for bartenders and waitstaff remain the same, $8.23 and $6.38, respectively.

The state’s minimum wage poster is required to be displayed in the workplace by all employers. GovDocs is shipping updated posters to impacted customers in Connecticut, and the poster will also be included in the  GovDocs Intranet Poster Program.

Louisiana Unemployment Benefits Poster

Louisiana Works, which is the state’s comprehensive workforce solution, updated the Unemployment Benefits posting that is required for all employers, specifically the Notice to Workers and Disqualification sections.

Under the Notice to Workers section, language was updated regarding when individuals may be eligible to receive unemployment insurance benefits, specifically individuals are now required to be “able to work, available for work, and are conducting no fewer than five (5) valid work search actions each week.”

Under the Disqualification section, language was updated so that individuals may be disqualified from drawing benefits on claims if the individuals “fail without good cause to: (a) apply for available suitable work; (b) accept suitable work within the time frame offered; (c) appear for a scheduled job interview; (d) return to your customary self-employment, if any; or (e) participate in an approved training program when directed by the Administrator.”

Both the English and Spanish versions of the Unemployment Benefits posting were updated. Accordingly, GovDocs Update Program andSpanish Update Programcustomers will receive updated posters for their Louisiana locations.
