Emeryville, CA 2016 Minimum Wage Increase

Published on May 4, 2016

Back in 2015, the City of Emeryville established a citywide minimum wage with planned increases, paid sick leave, and hospitality service charges (Ordinance 15-004).

The City released a revised labor law posting in anticipation of the new minimum wage rates taking effect July 1, 2016.

What Changed on the Emeryville Labor Law Poster?

The City updated the minimum rates businesses must pay, tiered by business size, which is determined by number of employees. The posting, which is required for all employers with locations within the geographical boundaries of Emeryville, also contains information for workers about paid sick leave and hospitality service charges.

The posters must be displayed where they can be read easily by employees.
