Wisconsin Revises Unemployment Insurance Notice
Published on March 23, 2016
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development revised its Unemployment Benefits notice. Among the many text changes, the notice now includes additional information needed by non-citizens and union members.
Additionally, the Department eliminated the 1-800 telephone number for benefit application and added their website address.
Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance Notice Posting Requirements
The revised Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance notice is required for all employers who are subject to Wisconsin’s unemployment compensation law. Employers must display the notice “where employees will easily see it”. For employees who work offsite, the Department allows employers to provide those workers with individual copies.
